    • When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address, browser user agent string, referrer, and site URL to assist with automated spam detection through the Akismet Anti-Spam service.
    • An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify usage. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. Upon approval, your profile picture becomes publicly visible alongside your comment.
  • Media
    • If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from hosted images.
  • Consent Management (Complianz)
    • We use the Complianz Privacy Suite to collect and record browser- and device-based consent. For this functionality, your IP address is anonymized and stored locally in our database. This service does not process personally identifiable information or transfer data to third parties.

External API Services & Embedded Content

  • Islam Practice Prayer Schedule (AlAdhan API): To display daily prayer times, our prayer schedule widget connects to the external AlAdhan prayer times API. By default, it uses a pre-set administrator location. If you choose to click the location button and allow browser geolocation, your coordinates (latitude and longitude) are sent directly to the AlAdhan API to calculate local times. The API provider receives standard technical request data (IP address, request time, browser user agent). Coordinates are not stored in our WordPress database, though calculated responses may be cached briefly in your browser.
  • Embedded Content: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from third-party websites behaves exactly as if you visited that website directly. These platforms may collect data, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor interactions.

Data Sharing & Retention

  • Data Sharing & Security: We do not sell or monetize your personal data. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security verification.
  • Comment Retention: Comments and associated metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.
